Announcement and invitation

Organizer: Sportgemeinschaft Siemens Erlangen Leichtathletik (sport community Siemens Erlangen athletics)

Racing route: flat courses in the forest "Brucker Lache" on ways good to run on, with km-boards; start and finish at church St. Marien 

The 10 km distance is completed by 2 laps, the 15 km distance by 3 laps. The 5 km lap is shown below. The start may be on the Anschütz street in case of really many participants. Then the first lap would slightly differ (see figure two) to enable a mass start. Click on the respective card to view the lap in more detail in a new window.

The pupils run a 1.7 km lap:       

Competitions

a) 5 km or 10 km Walking or Nordic Walking for women and men without further valuation - sponsor SBK

b) 1.7 km for pupils, valuation for age group M/W7 to M/W15 without team valuation - sponsor Johnny Stackmann

c1) 10.0 km main race for participants, who can run 10km in 45 minutes or faster: 5-year valuation: men M20, M30, M35 and so on till M70 and older; women W20, W30, W35 and so on till  W65 and older; 5 members for team valuation of men and women together; Single championship valuation for Siemens employees, Siemens holding und members of Siemens sport communities - sponsor Siemens AG.

c2) 10.0 km fitness run for women and men that are slower than 45 minutes, valuation together with or as c1) - sponsor Siemens AG

d1) 2x 5 km relay for women, men and mixed teams, who can run 10km in 45 minutes or faster; without age valuation - sponsor Eisert

d2) 2x 5 km relay for women, men and mixed teams that are slower than 45 minutes; valuation as d1) - sponsor Eisert

e) 15.0 km race for women and men with age valuation as c1) - sponsor Sparkasse Erlangen

All competitions are open runs: you don't need to be a member in a club neither affiliated to a company!

Starting time:
10:30 > 5 km or 10 km Walking or Nordic Walking;
12:30 > 1.7 km pupil run;
13:00 > 10 km main race and relays (up to 45 minutes!) with finish limit time 14:00;
13:00 > 15 km race
15:00 > 10 km fitness run and relays (slower than 45 minutes!) with finish limit time 16:30

Registration: generally via internet, latest 20.March 2010 (date stamp)
registration address (per post until 16.3.2010): Intersport Eisert * Sedanstr. 1 * 91052 Erlangen  
The (formless) registration has to be good readable and contain (besides the sender address) following: name, given name, M/W, club (or "without club"), year of birth, distance and only for 10 km (!) possibly Siemens ranking. Medals can be ordered for walkers via email: info(at)winterwaldlauf.de.
We ask you for understanding to keep later changes of registration data to a necessary minimum. We reserve to claim a service fee (contract with time measurement company).

Entry fee will be collected or has to be paid (also for registration via post) at 26.3. (pick up at Intersport Eisert) or at 27.3. one hour prior to the start with 2 € additional fee as far as the participant limit is not exceeded.
Men, women 10 € (10 km) and 12 € (15 km), youth 6 €; 14 € (2x 5 km); 0 € walking; pupils 2 €, additional fee 2 €.

Find us: via B4 or A73 (exit Erl.-Bruck)-> right, Paul-Gossen-Str., turn off-> Günther-Scharowsky-Str., Bunsenstr., turn off left -> big parking place - see following routing sketch. Continue going (400m) -> Anschützstr.-> church St. Marien (competition office is in the church hall)

- Friday, 26.3., from 14:00 to 19:00 at Intersport Eisert, Sedanstraße 1, 91052 Erlangen
- Saturday, 27.3., from 11:00 to 14:30 in the church hall St. Marien, An der Lauseiche 1, 91058 Erlangen
Granted Starting places for registrations whose complete starting fee is booked before the participation limit is exceeded.
Further registrations (not paid until then) are accepted continuously at 26.3. and at 27.3. as long as starting places are available (cash paying).
Please pay attention to hints in this homepage!

Changing room is in the tent at start/finish and in rooms in church centre St. Marien and changing room with showers in the Siemens sport park in the Komotauer Straße 2-4

Winner ceremony about 14:30 for the three fastest runners (m/w) of the 10 km main race, the fastest relays (m/w/mixed) and the winner of Siemens ranking (m/w) as well as the three fastest runners (m/w) of the 15 km race. 

Awards: medals for all participants (directly after the finish); certificates for all participants (Internet), prices for the fastest runners of the 10 km main race and the 15 km race (see winner ceremony) and non-cash prices for 1st to 3rd of each age group (prices will be forwarded > enter address with registration!); the pupils team with the most participants will receive the Johnny Cup.  
Forward of result lists and certificates costs 5 €; results are primarily published in this homepage (internet).

Sponsor action: Intersport Eisert will give a discount of 10 % in April 2010 for articles in the shop for the finisher 2010 (not ski and skating).

Miscellaneous: the organizer/ town/ Bayer. Staatsforsten and church don't take any responsibility for accidents and thefts as well as other cases of damage! The German athletics regulations according to IWB, VAO and LAO are valid.
